This is in response to the ongoing central push for models that bypass hospital consultants, and set target for referral rejections. Our right to refer as GPs has to be protected and is a key part of being able to advocate for our patients. Locally, we will continue conversations with the trusts about how we can find alternatives that work for all of us, and our patients.
