Guidance – Right to Choose

Statement from Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (February 2026)

Right-to-Choose Patient Information – Service Suspension

ADHDNET has received a formal suspension notice under the NHS Standard Contract. During this suspension period, ADHDNET is not permitted to provide any NHS clinical services, including appointments, prescriptions, titration, or clinical advice.

We currently do not have a full list of affected patients; however, we are aware that some may contact GP practices directly. The only individuals we are aware of at this stage are those who have contacted the Experience Team, typically because they have run out of medication.

Practices can highlight patients to Vicky McKinlay Victoria.McKinlay@nhs.net so we can look at arranging a transfer, referring them to RDaSH, or the practice may choose to take on prescribing. We will in touch with further information as soon as we have it.
