Abuse Means…

Abuse means shouting, swearing, nasty comments.

The first phase of the campaign “Abuse Means…” concerns stopping abuse of staff working in primary care.

Digital Graphics

These are just a few of many graphics available which can be shared through social media or used on websites.

The graphics are all JPG files. You can download a folder containing all the digital graphics from Dropbox.

Videos

There are a number of videos highlighting abuse in primary care and how it impacts on people. You can use the videos on practice screens and share them on websites and social media. The videos are hosted on YouTube – view a playlist of all the abuse content.

Audio message

The audio file available is recommended to be used when a patient is on hold. This time is often when people become frustrated which can in turn lead to abuse, so it’s important to make sure that patients consider their actions before speaking with staff.

The audio is a WAV file. Click below to play the message. You can also download the audio file from Dropbox.
