Event Details

Suitable for:

Practice Management/Senior managers, Partners.

Course summary:

As the pandemic has taught us, neglecting disaster planning can have a major impact on business-critical operations across healthcare.

Although the nature of events is extremely varied and predicting them nearly impossible, we can identify potential risks, classify them and ensure simple contingencies are in place that will significantly improve our chances of business continuity and even thriving despite an event taking place.

  • We offer simple strategies – Identifying key stages, personnel, communications and responsibilities in crisis management
  • Help understand the difference between crisis aversion and crisis response
  • Use framework to help formulate a practical business continuity plan (a CQC requirement) and share ideas and best practice in facilitated group discussions

Please note that contractual aspects will be based on the England Standard General Medical Services (GMS) Contract

Course format:

The course will be run via zoom – a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event.

Humber practice staff will now be required to pay a course fee which has been subsidised by GPMplus. These places are limited and are only eligible to be booked by staff working in an NHS practice, within Humber and North Yorkshire ICB.
