Developing a strong learning culture is central to delivering safe, high-quality care.

This session explores how organisations can strengthen learning, reflection, and continuous improvement in line with the CQC’s Assessment Framework with a specific focus on the Safe Key Question.

Hosted by Dr Clare Sieber (GP Clinical Adviser), the session will be led by Gabi Ashton, former CQC Inspector, who will share practical insight into what a Safe and supportive learning culture looks like in everyday practice, the conditions that enable it, and the common challenges teams encounter.

Co-sponsored by Mohammed Rashad (Medicines Management Team) and Let’s Make Lemonade, the webinar will also feature contributions from Gary Hughes and Dr Mateen Ellahi, offering additional perspectives from clinical, operational, and governance roles.

Participants will explore:

• Behaviours and systems that encourage an open learning culture and support continuous improvement.
