Following NHS England’s letter on specialist advice and the introduction of elective single points of access (SPoA), NHS England will be hosting a national webinar for general practice teams focused on what this means in practice for referrals, advice and guidance, and working with secondary care.

The webinar will cover the purpose of elective SPoA, how advice and guidance supports timely access to specialist input and clearer next steps for patients, and what general practice should expect from secondary care as these models are implemented. There will also be an opportunity to address common questions and concerns raised by practices.
