NHSE are keen to offer support to primary care colleagues through offering a number of webinars and sharing resources.

This interactive learning session is part of a People Promise series, designed to support those working in general practice with practical tools, advice, and examples to help build positive, inclusive workplace cultures.

In this session, we’ll introduce the fundamentals of evaluation for projects aimed at improving staff experience. With a focus on making evaluation relevant, proportionate, and achievable, especially within General Practice settings, you’ll be guided through key stages of evaluation to help you plan and deliver meaningful, high-quality evaluations.

Delivered by colleagues from NHS England’s Research, Evaluation and Insights Team within the Centre of Excellence, the session will cover:

  • What is evaluation? – myth busting common misconceptions
  • Three key evaluation questions
  • Three key stages of evaluation
  • Types and examples of data relevant to General Practice
  • Next steps – how to get started with your evaluation
  • Live Q&A with members of the Research, Evaluation and Insights Team
